Internships
We look forward to welcoming the following three Tero Summer Interns to the Tero Team this year:
Ho Dac Dieu Anh (Anh Ho) is a graduate student at Iowa State University for Master of Science in Hospitality Management with an interest is human resource training. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from RMIT International University Vietnam.
Matt Gayman is a junior at Grand View University studying Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.
Mitch Stearns just completed his second year at Central College in Pella, Iowa, and is pursuing a major in Psychology with a minor in Communications.
We extend our sincere thanks to the 41 students who applied for a Tero 2012 Summer Internship.
Tero Student Scholarship Program
Tero is pleased to make its popular IMPACT: How To Speak Your Way To Success and Influence: How To Achieve Winning Outcomes workshops available to students at a reduced fee this summer. Full-time college students, with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, are eligible for this program. Registration fees for these two-day workshops are $695. Students taking advantage of this program may enroll in these programs for $395 (a $300 discount). Full-time college students of all ages may take advantage of this opportunity as there is no age limit on the program. Ro Crosbie Speaks to the Pella Professional Women's Forum
Ro spoke to the Pella Professional Women's Forum on April 12 on the subject of Effective Presentation Skills. The event was held at the Royal Amsterdam Hotel in Pella and the tulips were in full color.
Ro Crosbie Speaks at SHCA Meeting
On May 18th, Ro speaks to the Society of Health Care Advocacy (SHCA) at their meeting held at Pella Regional Health Center. SHCA is a not-for-profit healthcare organization dedicated to patient advocacy. The topic is Communicating Dark Messages in a Positive Light. Click here for information about SHCA.

The Iowa SHRM Conference is scheduled for September 26 - 28 at the Marriott Des Moines Downtown. The conference theme is HRs Got Talent. Rowena Crosbie is delivering a session on Selecting Top Performers on September 27. Deborah Rinner speaks on September 28 in the subject of Cross Cultural Competence for the HR Professional.
