Intern Profiles
Tero's Internship Program provides students with experience in a variety of aspects of our growing business and is evidence of Tero's commitment to education.
Tero congratulates and welcomes the following college students to the Tero Team for summer internships in 2010:
Allison Kane
Allison Kane is from Des Moines, Iowa. She is a Spanish major at Luther College, and is looking to teach and minor in communications. She enjoying using her writing skills and working with others. She will return to Luther College in the fall.
Pamela Neubauer
Pamela Neubauer is from Cumming, Iowa, and graduated this May from Drake University with a Bachelor's of Music, Minor in Business and a Concentration in Human Resource Management. This fall Pam will be attending Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida for her Master's in Arts Administration.
Whitney Fontanini
Whitney Fontanini is a student at the University of Northern Iowa. Her specialty and professional interest is in Public Relations/Marketing. Whitney will continue her education at UNI during the fall 2010 and graduate in December 2010 majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Marketing.

Julie Van Cleave

Where is she now? Julie is a student at DMACC in the Management and Marketing program. She will graduate in May 2009 with a two year degree in Management and in August 2009 with a two year degree in Marketing. She is currently interning at the DMACC marketing department and will continue to work there part-time while attending classes this summer.
Kayla Scott

Specialty and Professional Interests: Communication Studies and Marketing
Background: Northwest Missouri State University
Where is she now? Kayla graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in May 2008 and accepted a graduate teaching assistantship at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in the Communications Department. She is teaching a basic communication course and earning her Master's Degree in Speech Communication.
Sirintaraporn (Start) Soratkittiya

Where is she now? Start returned home to Bangkok, Thailand and is a Research Executive at an international research and consulting company.
Adam Drake

Where is he now? Adam plans to graduate from Drake University in May 2009 with a double major in Finance and Marketing. He also enjoyed a financial planning internship with Ameriprise Financial in Des Moines.
Tiffany Summy

Where is she now? Tiffany is living and studying in Soctland at the University of Strathclyde. She is working on her Master's of Science in Marketing. Tiffany is also a 1999 graduate of Tero's Outstanding in Life youth program, hosted at Dowling High School in Des Moines.

Where is she now?Jacque is a Senior Communications Coordinator for Target Financial Services, a business unit of Target Corporation, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Julie Blaser

Specialty and Professional Interests: Intercultural Awareness and Research, Communication Skills and Public Relations
Background: Iowa State University - Master's Program
Where is she now? Julie completed her Master's in Higher Education at Iowa State University in 2006. She is currently a Program Coordinator in the Iowa State Study Abroad Center and is responsible for programs in Ireland, Scotland, South Korea and Taiwan. Julie was accepted for Iowa State's Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
Emily (Westbrook) Cantrell

Specialty and Professional Interests: Urban and Regional Planning
Background: Indianola High School (1999), Furman University, South Carolina (2000 and 2001)
Where is she now? Emily is with the City of Charlotte (North Carolina) in the Economic Development Office. She works on business retention and recruitment. She is researching and considering a Master's Degree program. Emily married Wade Cantrell in March 2009.
