Thanks in large part to the input of many graduates of Tero training programs and an appreciation that the greatest skill we can help our children develop is the ability to understand themselves and to relate to others, Tero began an intensive study into the development of personal and interpersonal skills in young people.
The research was clear. Skills such as communication, conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making, interpersonal relationships, and values formation are critical areas for young people to develop. Sadly, while the traditional education system knows how to transfer facts from teacher to student, they fall short in the more abstract personal and interpersonal skills.
The work at Tero began and the result was a series of cmprehensive development workshops designed especially for young people and customized for specific groups.
