Kate brings to Tero varied work experience in sales training and customer service as well as academic training and work experience in presentation skills, media and theater arts. In 2013, Kate joined the marketing and ecommerce team at Sunspel, a luxury British heritage brand, to produce and develop online content.

Kate has an extensive background in customer service. In 2006, she acted as a staff trainer at Canyon Ranch, the 11-time winner of Conde Nast Traveler Best Destination Spa Award. In 2009, Kate became the General Manager of Ortigia Limited, a luxury Italian perfume and cosmetics brand in the UK. With Ortigia, she administered sales training sessions in major wholesale outlets including Harrods and The Conran Shop and traveled to Paris and Frankfurt to present products at international trade fairs, Maison et Objet and Ambiente. In 2013, Kate joined the marketing and ecommerce team at Sunspel, a luxury British heritage brand, to produce and develop online content.

Her media experience was gained in London with Documentary Filmmakers Group (DFG) and One World Media, a charitable trust. Kate aided in the organization of the One World Media Awards of 2008, an annual event recognizing outstanding media coverage of global and societal issues and participated in the 2010 British Academy of Film and Television Arts ( BAFTA) award-winning educational documentary, Animated Minds. Kate also recently worked as a researcher for the documentary Baby P: The Untold Story, which is a current nominee for the BAFTA Awards of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Kate graduated with an Associates of Arts degree from New York University in 2001. After attending NYU, Kate completed over 900 hours of training at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York, focusing on Acting, Voice/Speech and Movement. She then went on to study journalism at the New School, New York, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005.
