Yesterday we discussed the merit of creating soundbites to share in a business conversation. Today we'll look at two ideas to begin the process.
First, sit down with your manager and clarify your role if needed. Ask how they would like you to describe your role, and how they describe the work of the organization.
Second, ask others in your company or industry to share with you how they describe their roles and their organization.
Use these examples to craft a soundbite for yourself. Remember your goal is significant conversations to build good business relationships. Your soundbite is a crucial component to those larger conversations.
