Yesterday we encouraged Brian to assess his own values and behaviors in preparing to work cross culturally. He wanted to be perceived positively.

Today, we encourage anyone working cross culturally to seek out a generalized knowledge of the culture you will be interacting with.

Find out what to expect in terms of differences in communication, time, relating, or how power is perceived in the other culture.

This will inform you of what aspects you will need to adapt to, or not react to!

Regardless of the culture, your ability to build trust is key to your perception and success.
