Roy joined the Tero team in 2022 as Lead Web Developer. He is responsible for the development and design of Tero's websites and applications. His first project involved the programming and design of an exciting new learning needs assessment application for Tero. While his passion is front-end development with a focus on user-interface design, he also oversees back-end development and database management.
Prior to joining Tero, Roy worked in the audiovisual field. His 3 years as an Audio-Visual technician served as a catalyst to his transition into web development, as both fields require creative problem solving. Roy's focus is in React.js development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as his main programming languages. He built up his expertise through a series of bootcamps and self-teaching.
A native New Yorker, his role is also noteworthy for being a remote position. Roy looks forward to his future at Tero with the exciting prospect of new projects to implement his skills. His hope is to expand Tero's presence in the digital and online spaces while simultaneously honing his current and new skills in software development.
